Of many Worlds

While waiting in rehearsal during a production of A View From the Bridge (By Arthur Miller), I put together a previs of the blocking for the first tableau. I wanted to view how placements were seen from the house seats. Done in Unity3D, along with my Generic Behavior scripting library for quick setup of controls. All modeling was done with primitives. Adobe Fuse was used for character Modeling and animations.

Acting & Performance

Not shy

Years of teaching and public performance make me very comfortable in front of a crowd. I find it important to combine any artistic skill with a technical implementation. In addition, teaching designers has required me to maintain programming skills so that I can contribute to many areas of the game design field.

I’ve also gotten to speak in a diverse set of forums, internationally too. I participated as a guest speaker in Siggraph Bogotá, talking about the future of game avatars in mixed media, as well as Orlando’s Pechakucha twice, where I last presented about self imposing limits on creating content libraries, for example limiting the number of pictures taken with a digital camera to emulate the decision process of fil photography.

It helps

Will always think with and through it. Here’s the best album you didn’t hear 15 years ago.
